All this shark talk has me excited about Cops and Robbers.... I think we are going to get a special Caskett moment. Something along the lines of the Hotel scene in the LA episode.. Either they are about to admit their feelings to one another or about to kiss before they get interrupted (Molly I'm thinking of you). If it happens.... I'm betting this season's finale will be the two getting together for reals (Not some alternate reality coma induced dream BS)

What annoys me about the the shark talk is that Beckett & Castle moving forward in some manner is NOT jumping the shark. The term comes from when Happy Days was starting to wane and they devised an episode where Fonzie was LITERALLY going to attempt to jump over a shark tank with his motorcycle. It was done strictly to draw in viewers and had nothing to do with anything really. Beckett and Castle admitting more feelings, almost kissing, kissing, etc, are natural progressions of the storyline, and Castle's ratings are fine. I thinks that might have been the point of Miller's reply - in otherwords, nothing about "jumping the shark" applies to what is happening on Castle.

This in not to say that I don't think some forward movement is heading our way in Cops & Robbers, and that another milestone in Caskett is coming up. I do think that. However, "jumping the shark" is a term used for show stunt events and carry a connotation of bad writing. Thus, I DON'T think Caskett moving forward is "jumping the shark."

(So, yeah, lots of speculation that this was a dance floor for the Ryan's Wedding episode, but as you can read, Castlegrip was was very noncommital on the topic.
