Yep. Only it's heads instead of alien fetuses. Plus, a lot of the folks from X-files now work on Castle...so there's that "thing" in general. Luckily, it's not a bad thing.

At least that is what I think of when Castle is shouting "he has the head" and the head is in a "jar"

On a shallow "Psychology of Hair" note:

Beckett's hair is becoming a little less straight...a sign that she's relaxing back into pre-shooting mode?

I dunno I'm not good at placing music :/ I think it is my tone defness It does sound a little X-Filish though.

I DIDN'T notice the X's!
The music isn't the X-files theme - it's X-files theme-ish. It's the same bell sounds in the same key and time signature.

lol the x's were the first thing I noticed but then I'm kinda obsessed... for years I use to go around leaving the X mark wherever I went.

I did know it wasn't the main X-Files theme but it does sound like it could have been played at some time during any X-Files episode Though heck if I could pinpoint when and where.

I can't wait for Monday!!!!!!!!!! I will be looking for Mark Snow's name in the credits... lol

Where's the body?



This one is my favorite! Simultaneous: NO. ...Flowers?

Beat me to the punch.... Poor Alexis.... Gates what can you say about her other than she is bitc???. I love Beckett's "No" expressions when Castle asks if he should send Gates flowers and when Gates tells her that you only narrow the list to men. Beckett can't believe that Gates is serious with that question.

Gates is like the mother-in-law from hell...No matter what Castle does...


(I know Gates is said to be married with kids...I can't help wondering if she's split from her husband and Castle reminds her of him? Or if she's had some bad experiences with charmy-charmy men in the past? Maybe all the men like Castle got the promotions she wanted? While the men breezed past her, all charm and swagger, she had to work twice as hard to achieve her goal? What ever it is, she gives no ground where Castle is concerned. He's gonna have to WORK to earn her respect. Flowers? Chocolates and gifts *Cough BlackmailBribery Cough* will not wash!)

That comment, "you've limited the victim pool down to men." Can be taken two ways. ThereMs the way Castle took it it, which was tha Gates was being sardonic and saying limiting to men didn't help much, OR, how the hell did you limit it to MEN, like how can you be so sure. I'm hoping it's the former, because the latter would be REALLY petty and stupid.

Gates doesn't seem to believe in process...I'm curious about that. She seems to like having a conclusion and then finding the facts to back it up. The exact opposite of the team at the 12th... I think there's some good potential for interesting learning arcs on both sides with her...
