| Hot off the presses...errr, the internet, is a thoughtful review from the Houston Examiner. I like how they look at the actual structuring of what we saw. For instance: - Quote :
This episode did a fantastic job of following Beckett as she tries to cope with her shooting.... Viewers saw Beckett struggling and breaking down in a number of ways: through flashes of her point of view, her actions, and her words. The variety just added to the gravity of the situation, and the episode showed the pain and fracturing that Beckett was experiencing from multiple angles to provide a more complete look at how the shooting was affecting her...

| Luciana Mangas delivers another great review! I love how she's such a fan and can really connect the dots not just within the episode, but track what it means looking at the whole series. (Of course, if Marlowe wasn't such an awesome writer and showrunner, which a cast that can totally rock it, there'd be nothing to track. ) So, go check out her insights and show some love in the comments section! Remember, more comments = more Castle coverage! http://www.tvovermind.com/castle/kill-shot-review | |

 | Subject: Final Ratings for KillShot - from TVbytheNumbers Wed Nov 23, 2011 5:29 am | |
| Killshot did well, but did lose some audience to football in some markets. So while the initial numbers were close to 12 million, they were adjusted down because of the football game. Still, they did 10.85 million viewers and a 2.3 in the 18-49 demo. For more insight on what that all means, or to be entertained by the silly ranting of the Castle vs. H5O fans in the comment section check out http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com The comment section IS pretty hilarious reading there, but there's some interesting insights about the whole ratings thing. H5O is a decent show. Obviously I prefer Castle, but considering some of the stufff that's on these days I certainly don't wish them any ill will. Maybe just that they'd move it to Wednesday nights at 10...yes I know, that's countering another ABC show, but THAT show is a soap-opera so they wouldn't be competing for the same audience. It would probably split by gender...I disgress... | |
