I think I'm bored with TV. And warning, I'm very bored with Castle so if you dont want to listen to someone moaning what I perceive to be its current flaws, then please don't read. You've been warned.
I've seen too many shows do an AU episode and each and every one does the same thing. A kiss between the main characters that aren't really the main characters and/or someone doesn't remember it because it's the one character's fantasy etc etc. It's just... expected. No surprises.
I'm waiting for someone to put a new spin on an old idea :/ Which I thought Castle could do. They have a unique forward moving story telling going on here that's rarely ever seen.
OK chew me alive. I expect it but I had to let that out. And the fact that they seem to be dumbing Beckett and the two partners down a little too much. Come on... her one big break in the case was a SHOE??? Sure, let the woman spot the shoe :/ Becketts whole "A diary from 1947 doesn't have anything to do with who murdered Stan" REALLY irked me too. I miss season 1 and 2 when there was a nice balance there or it was obvious she was letting Castle figure some things out... now I'm just wondering why they dont hand Castle a badge and let him solve the crimes on his own.
On a positive note: loved the costumes
