ADAM: The character, played by Heroes alum Jack Coleman, will have "compelling information" about Beckett's mother's murder — compelling enough that she will likely call on him throughout the season, creator Andrew W. Marlowe tells us. But Beckett may not like all the things she learns as she finally closes her mom's case. ""It's going to spin our characters in a different emotional direction," Marlowe says. "Once Beckett has that knowledge, what's she going to do with it and who is she going to become?" In other words: Closure may not exactly equal contentment.

I wish it wasn't too early for sneak peeks... I feel spoiled since we got one over the summer last year.

Please don't kill me for mentioning it, but, I find it hilarious that Castle is doing what I had hoped Bones would do at the end of season 5... secret relationship for the win! Well, I wanted Bones to even keep it a secret from the viewers so it'd become a "did they or didn't they" instead of a "will they or won't they" but that's only a minor technical difference and I'm still amused. And I'm anticipating this season like no other. So *flipping* excited.

Yes I did! And I went full-on jazz hands, PLUS a happy jig. Why? 1) The morning-after scene is everything executive producer Andrew Marlowe promised (“I think it’s a really sweet, fun and funny scene,” he told me.) and 2) They bring the plot about Beckett’s mom’s murder to a big non-resolution resolution that is very clever. And you’ll see exactly what my confusing terminology means when you see the episode.

All the buzz about the first scene is worth it, but the last scene is also going to be a fave among the fans. (My reaction? “Hey, now! Easy, Beckett!”)
