I like to consider Monday night’s warning from 3XK a cliffhanger of sorts, but otherwise, there is no midseason cliffhanger. Personally, after the summer we had, I’m thankful for the break!
6 returns with new episodes tonight on ABC. Is the 3XK killer really back? When will wedding bells ring for our favorite castle season 6writer/cop duo? Will Castle and his now-grown daughter Alexis find their way back to good? What she doesn’t know — the answers to those questions...
Well into its sixth season, Castle is doing better than ever in ratings and recently won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV Crime Drama for the third year in a row. With its main couple getting ready to tie the knot, the show continues to succeed in bringing back its viewers.
Terri Miller, writer and current consulting producer for the show, has worked on the show alongside the showrunner, her husband Andrew Marlowe, since its inception in 2009. Miller spoke to Emertainment Monthly about the rest of the season, live-tweeting with fans, and her experience working on the show...

Is Castle doing another two-parter this February? — Gina
"We're going to forgo tradition," executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe says, noting that Season 6 defied convention by opening with a two-episode case. But never fear: The Castle team still has big plans for the sweeps month. First up, an episode that involves the murder of a high school student. "It appears our victim was killed telekinetically," Marlowe says. "It takes us in that Carrie kind of world." Then, look for a big episode that once again digs into the Beckett mythology. Could her mother's history be involved?
Castle: Andrew Marlowe on Castle and Beckett’s Wedding Planning, Upcoming Cases, and More
Beckett and Castle have been engaged for all of this season of CASTLE, and the show may be leading up to a spring wedding for the duo. But will their nuptials go off as planned?
While CASTLE boss Andrew Marlowe wouldn’t spill all the details (naturally), we talked about the decision to show so many of the wedding’s details before the big day, as well as upcoming cases, and more…
Exclusive Interview: Seamus Dever talks CASTLE Season 6
On CASTLE, now in its sixth season ABC, Mondays at 10 PM, it’s been a big season for a lot of characters. Not only have the title character (Nathan Fillion) and NYPD homicide detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) gotten engaged to each other; Beckett’s squad mate Kevin Ryan, played by Seamus Dever, is now the proud parent of a baby girl with his wife Jenny, played by Juliana Dever (Seamus’ real-life spouse). Jenny went into labor while Ryan and his partner, detective Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas), were trapped in a burning building, but it all ended happily...
Hi, Matt! Any Castle scoop for us this week? –Teresa
You could say that. Episode 21, I have learned, is titled “Law & Boarder,” while 22, you may have heard, is called “Veritas.” That brings us to the May 12 season finale, and while unconfirmed by ABC, I’m hearing it’s titled “For Better or For Worse,” and the guest roles being cast include a motorcycle gang leader, an ex-mob boss, a stripper and an… officiant… of some sort. :-O
PENNY TALKS TO ASSIGNMENTX ABOUT CASTLE SEASON SIX:
Actress Penny Johnson Jerald has spent the last three years playing NYPD Captain Victoria Gates on ABC’s CASTLE, Mondays at 10 PM. Gates is the mostly no-nonsense boss of homicide detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) and, although the captain isn’t technically the boss of Beckett’s fiancé Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion), the top cop has no trouble telling him what to do, either...
