I'm adding Marlowe's discussion with EW about Rise here.  It's also in "Castle of the Week" under Rise" Show Discussion.

It's so refreshing to read the thoughts of a writer whose ideas are about building and showing the chraracters' journey - instead of having to hear an explaination of why the writer is using the gimmick of the week Rolling Eyes
