Worried about the addition of The Killing‘s Kristen Lehman as an art insurance investigator/love interest for Castle? Don’t be. I hear she’s only in one episode as of now and has a pretty darn good story while she’s there. Obviously the casting choice was made for a reason (Chemistry? Yup!), but I’d calm myself a bit. She isn’t the female Josh (a.k.a. ‘ship wrecker!). But while Lehman is only in one episode, I can’t say the same for Beckett’s psychiatrist, played by Michael Dorn. This is the episode that freaked out the entire fandom!

I think it makes more emotional sense having seen Rise and Heroes & Villains. Beckett holds both reigns in the "Love Stakes"...she knows how Castle feels about her and she knows how she feels about him. (Castle only knows the story from his side of the wall) I think this knowledge gives Beckett a certain power and freedom to love Castle back...Just when she's getting comfortable and exploring this new side of herself in comes Serena Kaye (same initials as Stana Katic! HeeHee!) and suddenly that security is threatened.

But I will try to hold back my hatred for Boothy characters and reserve judgement as I'm sure Castle won't let us down.

I must say I hate this episode. And I'm sorry, but Martha has gone all out of continuity now. IMHO. She KNOWS why Castle isn't dating. I understand how she would want to push him towards someone else but don't have her act like she doesn't know :/
